Answered prayer - 1

On 16 October four-year-old Cleo Smith disappeared in the middle of the night while camping with her family in a harsh remote area of Australia. On 21 October we joined with many across Australia to pray for her to be found. Now, after 18 days, she has been rescued from a locked house in Carnarvon. The police have arrested a 36-year-old man and are questioning him. The authorities say they have so far not found any connection between the man and the Smith family. She has now been reunited with her parents. ‘Our family is whole again,’ was the message Cleo’s mother wrote on Instagram. Prime minister Scott Morrison said, ‘It is a huge relief that the nightmare has come to an end and our worst fears were not realised.’

Australia: National Solemn Assembly 26-27 Sept

For the Healing of the land

We invite the people of Australia and other Indigenous Elders to join with us in as we seek Gods face according to 2 Chronicles 7:14, and Joel 1:14, ‘for the healing of the land’.

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

“Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly; Gather the elders And all the inhabitants of the land Into the house of the LORD your God, And cry out to the LORD.” Joel 1:14

We have been working towards a National Solemn Assembly for the last ten years. This is the moment we have been waiting for. We are praying for ‘times of refreshing’ and the ‘healing of the land’ as the scripture says in Acts 3:19, “ Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.”

The ‘times of refreshing’ from the presence of the Lord that Peter the Apostle is talking about is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit that is found in Acts 2:1-21 That is what Australia needs.

We are praying that Australia will get a revelation of the love of God through Jesus Christ.

Matthew 18:20 gives us the key, “Where two or three are gathered together in My name there am I in the midst of them.”

Walker0920We thank the National Council of Churches Australia and the National Day of Prayer & Fasting and other groups who are helping to facilitate the National Solemn Assembly on behalf of the First Nation People.

We encourage you to pray together in your churches, in your homes and on the hills as we lift our nation up before God.

Join us as you are able on Zoom between 9AM – 9PM any time on both days at: undefined

Yours for our Nation

Sunrise Prayer Relay 1st Jan 2020

Australia Calls the World to Pray for the Nations

Australia Christian prayer leaders invite their brothers and sisters in Christ, prayer groups, prayer networks and churches to join with them all over the world to pray at sunrise on New Year's Day 2020 at a public location such as a hill, lookout or landmark in your city or town.

This year our focus is to pray for the nations. Over the last two years we had registrations from 50 different countries including USA, South Africa, Namibia, Pakistan, Japan, United Kingdom, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Zealand, and Australia.

Warwick Marsh, coordinator for Australia’s National Day of Prayer & Fasting said, “David said in Psalm 108:2, “I will wake the dawn with my song.” During this time of prayer, we want to focus on giving great praise to God. We also want to pray for revival and transformation, that God will bring healing to each of our nations: 2 Chronicles 7:14. Let us all pray for a great harvest of souls for the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Marsh continued, “In declaring Jesus Christ as Lord at this worldwide Sunrise Prayer Relay we are circling the globe with prayer, praise and worship and surrendering our lives to Jesus Christ for the glory of God. Psalms 113:3 says, “From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised.” This year we want to challenge people to pray for the nations. Use the prayer resources on the website and social media and register your location at: www.sunriseprayerrelay.org

Our prayer is that with your help, this worldwide Prayer and Praise Relay will go viral.”

Pat Steele, a prayer & evangelist leader in Wollongong Australia, said, “We encourage you to pray the Lord's Prayer together aloud as the sun rises and make a declaration that Jesus Christ is Lord of your life, your family, your region and your nation. Let’s also join to pray for the nations.

At your location we encourage you to include praise and worship, prayers, and scripture readings. We suggest 30 minutes, but you can pray for longer. You could even take communion, shine a torch, or light a candle. What you do for your sunrise celebration is up to you.”

Share photos and videos from your location on social media.

God has awakened His Bride in Australia. Even the pundits are calling Christian Prime Minister Scott Morrison's re-election a miracle. Mr. Morrison himself called it a "miracle" given the polls against him.

The Living God answered many prayers!

The Godly roots planted in that unique nation will still require constant prayer, fasting and repentance, but an awakening has happened that can now inspire Christians in other nations. The centuries old prophecy for that nation to be a light to others, as the Great Southland of the Holy Spirit, has been strengthened.

Warwick Marsh, leader of  Australia's National Day of Prayer - a dear friend of mine, standing each year for our National Day of Repentance - called for 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting nationwide for the 2019 federal elections. After the victory Warwick said:

'Scott Morrison is not the answer for Australia. Jesus is the answer. The fact that Scott Morrison is our continuing re-elected Prime Minister only means we have three years to see Revival and transformation come to our nation without overt persecution. God has given us a window of opportunity....we need to keep on praying for the salvation of souls and renewal in the church... it is very humbling indeed and a great privilege to be part of true Christ centric national Christian unified prayer and fasting that results in a miracle victory. Having said that, the victory has come through the grace of God and through the blood of Jesus. 'Not of works lest any man boast.' This victory is a victory for God and God alone....Your prayers are shifting this nation towards righteousness.'

And Hilary Moroney-Egerson, key intercessor/prayer warrior in Canberra's House of Prayer for All Nations, had this insight, including how repentance was stage one:

What a Glorious Victory - Look what God did! Let us Raise a Hallelujah!!!!

However my heart has been burdened today for the Get Up youth and many others standing against God's Truth & Righteousness, weeping that they will Repent before Almighty God and NOT Rage against Him - so that the spirit of death will not be able to take them out in suicide, drug overdoses, alcoholism.

Let us PRAY Today that just as the Charge at Beersheba was the beginning of the Victory, our prayers can continue, just as the strategic troops went to dismantle all the mines in the wells before they detonated. If they hadn't done this, all the troops and horses could well have died from lack of water -

Let us PRAY for a radical harvest of souls from this young generation - that they would hunger and thirst after Righteousness and Truth and seek after God and be found by Him Jer 29:11-13, to come to the revelation of HOPE in His Saving Grace alone, for them and our nation, and the preciousness of every human life......instead of struggling  feeling lost, angry, betrayed.

Let us Raise a Hallelujah and lift those of the losing side before the Throne of Grace the God's Victory will be fully won - Be Blessed by these words below and let's keep on Praying & Worshipping our God and Praying for the New Governent Leaders

The Canberra Declaration/Warwick Marsh/Margaret Court evening zoom call 21 days has gone through 3 clear phases ...

  1. Repentance, travail, and a cry for forgiveness for the sins of Australia
  1. A militant powerful declaration that the Lord Reigns over Australia and the election
  1. A celebration of the Lord and a change of prayer tone to declare of the Gospel of Jesus and revival/transformation

-- this is God's endgame; not the election which is a temporary situation; but the Gospel being made clear to the nation

-- Recognising our sin, the need for repentance, and His grace and forgiveness through Jesus and the cross

My feeling is that similar things happened in all the prayer groups/initiatives to one level or another.

The evening zoom group started in unity and become very much one (i.e. same heart).

There have been thousands praying across Australia in this season, in fact this election has brought the largest united prayer effort ever in this nation.

The big deal now is how to continue this with a view to the ecclesia rising up to her fullness in Christ and seeing Australia come into a full awakening and national transformation!!

As part of this we must better engage the under 35 NextGen in prayer and spiritual leadership.

'For the LORD will not abandon His people, now will He forsake His inheritance.  For judgment will again be righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it.' Psalm 94: 14-15

Thanks to repentance, thanks to prayer and fasting, thanks to a call for nation-wide unity among Christians, God heard those cries and acted.

The southern Cross shines bright in Australia; His anchor still holds!

In Jesus' Holy Name,

Pastor Jeffrey Daly

21 Days of Prayer & Fasting 28 April – 18 May 2019

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” - 2 Chronicles 7:14

We ask for Christian leaders and churches of all denominations from all over the world to pray for Australia, as wethe People of Australia, Pray and Fast for 21 days up to the Federal Election, Saturday 18 May 2019.

This prayer call was inspired by Ps Margaret Court’s love for Australia, her passion “for the church to arise and be a strong voice for righteousness, truth and justice”and her love for the word of God which says that, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”Proverbs 14:34.

“Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that you are the LORD God, and that you have turned their heart back to you again.”1 Kings 18:37

  1. Pray that God would rule over this election that righteous leaders would be elected to govern Australia in truth and justice because, “When the righteous are in authority the people rejoice.”Proverbs 29:2
  2. Pray God’s blessing upon Australia’s parliamentarians and leaders, including their families and all the candidates of all the parties standing for this federal election.1 Timothy 2:1-3
  3. Pray for a multiplication of prayer and unity across the Body of Christ in Australia that people will wakeup to the dangers facing our nation and respond in prayer. Ephesians 5:14
  4. Pray for a Spiritual Awakening for Australia, Revival and Transformation for Australia and the proclamation of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. John 3:16

Awakening Australia report back

Many thousands of Christians came to Melbourne for ‘Awakening Australia’, as part of a mission to bring 100,000 Australians to Jesus. Leaders spent the weekend preaching the gospel, leading people to Christ, and commissioning them to share the love of Jesus with others.

Participants included Bethel Music, Todd White, Heidi Baker, Jake Hamilton, Daniel Kolenda, and Bill Johnson.

‘Hundreds were born of God as they responded to Jesus. There is truly something remarkable happening in Australia! There is an Awakening, a sound in God's people here, that will shake the nation’, said Ben Fitzgerald, leader of Awakening Europe.

The weekend saw powerful moments of freedom, deliverance and salvation, followed by mass baptisms for those who gave their lives to Christ. Thousands proclaimed the gospel in the streets. ‘I can't believe this is happening in Australia,’ Fitzgerald said.

IPC colleague, Donny McGregor from Generation Fire, Sydney, was involved with a team who ran 100 hours of prayer in the lead up to the Awakening Australia event.  Just that event saw 200 lives saved!

‘We experienced a change in the spiritual atmosphere during the 100 hours of Prayer', said Donny.  'Our prayer focus moved from targeting the strongholds to speaking open heaven, breaking discouragements and hearts to be receptive to the Gospel… and we saw God move!  The hunger for God was off the chart!’

Awakening Australia saw an estimated 1,600 first time and renewed commitments and 250+ baptisms. Thousands of believers were involved in the witnessing around the city.

Praise: God for the changed spiritual atmosphere in Melbourne; thank Him for breaking strongholds and opening hearts to respond to His truth. (John 8:32)

Talks have begun to try to reach an amicable separation between members of four conservative evangelical churches and the Diocese of Christchurch. The congregations of the four churches voted by large majorities to disaffiliate following the decision in May by the General Synod of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia to permit churches in New Zealand to bless same-sex marriages. Archbishop Philip Richardson, one of the Primates of the ANZP, has now met with senior diocesan staff and archdeacons and the vicars and wardens of the four parishes to discuss how their members could disaffiliate ‘in a respectful manner’ while maintaining good communication and leaving doors open. ‘This is a broken and painful place to be,’ Archbishop Philip said, ‘but we need to find a way to walk through this uncharted land that is gracious, hospitable and realistic.’ They now enter a three month ‘resignation/exit process’ so that ‘logistics are managed sensitively’.

Australia: anti-Semitism

On 15 February anti-Semitic flyers were distributed around Melbourne’s inner west suburbs. The Anti-Defamation Commission said they promoted dangerous stereotypes, conspiracy theories and fear, and was concerned that anti-Semites are ‘redoubling their efforts as never before’. The flyers blamed Jews for everything from mass immigration and overpopulation to ‘making life harder for parents, thus pushing children into childcare centres’. They stated, ‘The Jews are the whole world’s enemy and are pure evil.’ On 4 March, 300 Holocaust denial leaflets were found at the University of Melbourne, claiming Holocaust studies were ‘replete with nonsense, if not sheer fraud’. Jewish and Hebrew studies courses that include language, literature, history, art and politics have been taught at that university since 1946. See also

Sunrise Prayer Relay Catching on Around the World

See some of the USA testimonies from Florida, South Dakota and Tennessee.

We are cheating a bit to say 50 countries because Puerto Rico is part of USA but they seem to regard themselves as another country. These countries included in the 50 are Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Burundi, Cameroon, Canada, China, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Fiji, France, Germany, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Liberia, Kenya, Mauritius, Namibia, New Zealand, Nigeria. North Korea, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Rwanda, Russia, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Africa, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, Tonga, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Uganda, USA and Vanuatu.

Check out more testimonies HERE - There are many more still to come!

Suffice to say from small beginnings in 2016 the New Year’s Sunrise Prayer Relay is exploding. There were 23 NATIONS where locations were confirmed in 2017 for the New Year's Day Sunrise Prayer Relay, so we have had a huge multiplication of people, locations, and nations praying in 2018. We believe that when people pray God moves and we are expecting Him to move powerfully in 2018 in EVERY NATION as we continue to pray for awakening, revival, and transformation in the name of Jesus.

This year we had 141 REGISTERED GLOBAL PUBLIC LOCATIONS with hundreds more that are private. This was an increase from around 100 on New Year's Day 2017, we are still going through the global registrations to confirm but at this stage we can say there were over 400 valid registrations worldwide this year, it was very difficult to confirm some of the locations and we are currently looking into more effective ways to register locations globally.

We also know of many locations globally that were not registered, or informed us via email or message that they were praying with us, we did not count these. We believe that the number of unregistered locations is greater than the number of registered locations. We need to simplify to multiply in other nations, and we would love to get prayer networks in nations like USA, UK & South Africa more involved to help with getting the word out and administration in their countries the way National Day of Prayer & Fasting has done for Australia.

The beauty of the New Year’s Day Sunrise Prayer Relay is that it is short (30 MINs),easy to do, easy to promote, requires minimal effort, is organic in nature, rides on an existing established event (New Year’s Day Sunrise) and has a proven track record of encouraging and reproducing more daily, weekly and monthly prayer events.
