The Global Outreach Day (GOD), which started in Germany, is now a worldwide movement. Each year, on the last Saturday in May, believers are challenged to reach at least one person with the gospel, either individually or as part of an outreach day organised by the church in their local neighbourhood. It has proved to be extremely successful in extending the Kingdom of God worldwide. Please pray for many more churches to hear about and get involved in this movement across the nations between now and the end of next month. As well as praying for this day to be a success, please remember the GOD leadership team in Germany who are currently under many attacks financially and have had several serious car accidents.

The UK is not the only country preparing for an election. On 4 May, Algeria’s parliamentary poll will be the first since the legislature adopted landmark constitutional reforms last year. France’s second round of voting, on 7 May, could trigger colossal changes in European politics. South Korea, in the world's most volatile region, has a presidential election on 9 May following the impeachment of President Park Geun-hye. Politics in the Bahamas is expected to become nastier, dirtier, and crazier ahead of the election on 10 May, after questions over lucrative brokerage, trucking, and limousine contracts. On 19 May Iranians go to the polls (see below), and on 24 May the Cayman Islands will be voting. Many of these nations desperately need change. When people pray, God answers; may He bring judgment and promotion where he deems it should be in the coming months.

Last Saturday, over 600 protest marches in the name of science took place - in Australia, New Zealand, North America, South America, Japan, and even South Korea. Tens of thousands of scientists and their supporters rallied around the world, in a rebuke to Donald Trump’s dismissal of climate science and scientific research cuts. Organisers warned that science is ‘under attack’. Placards demanded ‘science not silence’, and ‘there is no Plan B’. The marches took place on Earth Day, one week before tomorrow’s People’s Climate March when a series of large-scale environmental events that will be more overtly political are due. See also:

The persecution of Christians is real, global, and brutal; it occurs every day, and is worsening. Pray for more people to learn about their plight, and raise their voices for those who are suffering. Pray for God to give successful strategies to those actively working towards advancing the cause of religious freedom throughout the world. Pray for the persecuted people who have had to leave their communities. Ask God to give them peace and rest and be with them in circumstances for which life had not prepared them. Some people have had to reach some level of compromise and accommodation with their oppressor to survive. Pray for governments to remove oppressive regimes peacefully in countries where communities are under siege and for God to surround displaced people with comfort. Pray for those risking martyrdom to be wise in all their actions, and for God to be with the families of martyrs. In the last two weeks different prayer leaders have connected, expressing the need for united, focused, global prayers to target the demise of occultic forces working in harmony with the known demonic efforts of George Soros, and the Elitist Global Leaders he serves.

Three U.S. prayer leaders

Thanks to the prayers of many within the USA and many of you around the world, we have experienced a divine turnaround and made a U-turn at the cliff in our recent national election. America looked like it was in for even greater decline, but the Lord has had mercy and given us a reprieve. Many in the prayer movement here now feel that though Donald Trump certainly has some rough edges in his personality, he could well be a “Cyrus”, bringing our country back from the brink and opening the way to national restoration and hopefully as we pray the nation may experience a spiritual revival. Amazingly, he has appointed eleven evangelical Christians to serve on his cabinet. That, probably much of it due to Vice President Pence’s wise advice, demonstrates a real seriousness and resolve about restoring America to her original calling to be part of Christ’s light to the nations. Let’s pray that it may be so!

However, in the weeks since the inauguration of President Trump and Vice President Pence, a growing resistance movement is being orchestrated to hinder and if possible overthrow President Trump, Vice President Pence and the new administration. George Soros, the former Nazi collaborator and billionaire activist has set up many extreme liberal organizations that are Leftist-Marxist in ideology and seek to divide and destroy the nation. An allied movement is called Organizing for Action and is led by our former president Barack Obama. It aims to set up 250 offices across the country and utilize an estimated 30,000 agitators to discredit and resist our new leadership.

Now, today word has come that the resist Trump effort has gone supernatural in a global call to invoke the demonic realm against him. Witches worldwide have planned to cast spells on Donald Trump, starting February 24^th, at midnight, going around the globe hour by hour and continuing month by month according to the lunar cycle until Trump is taken out. 1. That any moles/enemies burrowed in the vast federal bureaucracy in Washington DC will be exposed and punished. Their recent leaks have become a threat to national and international security and are against the law.

4. Let us also agree in prayer and in the authority Jesus has given us that “whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven” (Matthew 18:18-19). We now bind in the Name that is above all names every demonic entity and any curses that are or will be invoked against President Trump, his colleagues and administration. In Jesus’ authority and in unity with other intercessors, we render them null and void. By the grace and mercy of God, may many of those who are involved in this witchcraft initiative be set free from spiritual blindness and slavery to the occult realm through coming to faith in Jesus as Savior and Deliverer!

For 2017 the vision is even bigger. The hope is to see at least 80 per cent of Church of England churches and cathedrals taking part as well as many other denominations and the churches of the world-wide Anglican Communion. Leaders from the international Methodist church, the Free churches, the Roman Catholic Church, Pentecostal churches and several of the Eastern and Oriental Orthodox churches in the UK have all signalled their support.

Global persecution of Christians has risen for the fourth year in a row and is on a "rapid rise" in Asia fueled by "extreme religious nationalism," a new report warns.

The report from Open Doors UK, released Wednesday, offers a stark picture of Christian persecution around the world.

"Religious nationalism is sweeping the globe according to figures released today as part of the Open Doors 2017 World Watch List," said Lisa Pearce, CEO of Open Doors UK & Ireland, Catholic News Agency reported.

"Persecution levels have been rising rapidly across Asia and the Indian subcontinent, driven by extreme religious nationalism which is often tacitly condoned, and sometimes actively encouraged, by local and national governments."

According to the report, all top 10 countries with the worst persecution of Christians are in Asia and Africa.

North Korea is still the most difficult place in the world to be a Christian, with Somalia ranking second, followed by Afghanistan, Pakistan, the Sudan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, and Eritrea, the report found.

Other "key findings" were:

• Islamic extremism is the main engine of persecution in 14 out of the most hostile 20 countries in the World Watch List, and 35 of the top 50.
• In the Middle East, Christians face pressure under both radical and autocratic regimes.
• Over 200 million Christians in the 50 countries where it is most difficult to be a Christian experience high levels of persecution because of their faith.

Let’s pray for the rejection and overthrow of religious nationalism and for our brothers and sisters in Christ, especially in the countries listed, who continue to suffer great abuse and even death for their faith.

The International Justice Mission operates in many places around the world, seeking to assist in the conviction of traffickers of adults and children. They currently seek prayer support for teams in Kenya, Uganda, Philippines, Guatemala, Thailand, and Cambodia. Their urgent request today is for a team in South Asia who are seeking to help anti-trafficking police rescue 20+ men from slavery. A recent success story is the conviction of eight men in India, after a three-year trial, for torturing and chopping off the right hands of two innocent men whom they tried to enslave. All eight were sentenced to life imprisonment, the longest sentences ever in an Indian bonded-labour case.
