UPRising South Africa - ‘PRAYER By Youth For Youth’ - 4-6 Oct 2019
The young people of UPRising (United Prayer Rising) are saying that as young people in the church, we are Uniting in Prayer, Rising as a body of young people, forming a revival wave, taking a stand, marching to the gates of Hell to give the devil back his surname and take our Identity back.
And Uniting in prayer together, black or white, every tribe, putting our differences aside and praying non-stop with every young person across South Africa, Africa and around the world. Because where there is United Prayer, (Psalm133:1-3) God is present and where God is, there is hope, love, transformation and honour.
UPRising South Africa aims to mobilise young people in every street, every township, every city, every province to Pray, BELIEVING.... and to see great and wonderful things happen as a result!
We will gather. We will pray. We will see change across our country.

UPRising South Africa - ‘PRAYER By Youth For Youth’ - 4-6 Oct 2019
United Prayer Rising - South Africa arose out of the 2016 UPRising event in Seoul, South Korea. The South Africa delegation came home with a burden - to see young people across South Africa reconciled and praying in unity for the needs of their generation, the Church and of their country.
‘There is only so much we can do for this generation’ - those are the words of Parents, selective leaders and the government. Young people seem to have become impotent in our societies. Everything that is bad is associated with ‘young people’.
It is almost like our surname is ‘trouble, rape, robbery, gangster-ism, drugs, pain, loss, hopelessness, drunkards, thieves, poverty and death’.
Somehow, that's what our parents see when they look at us, that's how society sees us, that's how the government sees us and we have to admit there is truth in that. Because we have become hooligans and we cannot tell right from wrong.
Admitting that means we know that there’s a problem and there is a way to solve it. Nothing is beyond God, nothing is impossible with him. Change and transformation are Gods specialties. Hebrews 1:3 declared that all things were created through Christ. This declares that we, as young people are created through Christ, for Christ, in Christ's image and likeness and therefore that means that we are overcomers, pace-setters and game-changers.

Let’s Unite in prayer and be more than Joseph who got to see Canaan, or David who smote Israel’s biggest enemy. Let’s acknowledge Christ who changed our surname from evil to Good, and gave us life.

51 Nations gathering – For Prayer, For Unity, For a Continent.
United Prayer Rising - Europe is a prayer and worship gathering happening this summer at Ashburnham Place in Sussex, UK bringing together people from all over Europe to contend for an awakening amongst the next generation. We believe God is raising up an army of passionate worshippers who will pray together to see their continent saved. This is God’s time for Europe!
UPRising Europe is part of the global UPRising movement birthed out of the World Prayer Assembly in 2012 in Indonesia. The first UPRising event was held in Seoul, South Korea in July 2016. Since then, there have been UPRising events in the Philippines, South Africa, Mongolia, Bolivia, Malaysia, Canada, Chile and Jakarta, Indonesia.
We are excited to now host an Uprising event for the continent of Europe. This is such a critical time for the continent – much is being shaken whilst God is stirring the hearts of young people for radical prayer and mission.
The backbone of UPRising Europe will be 72 hours of non-stop worship and prayer led by worship teams from all over Europe. These are the grassroots, passionate worship and prayer leaders who are faithful to where God has placed them and willing to contend for Europe.
Out of this will flow prayer and intercession for Europe, with inspiration from speakers in our main sessions. We will be hosting practical seminars equipping young people in a lifestyle of prayer, fasting and evangelism. Finally we will be commissioning people to take this fire back to their nations.
Uprising Europe will be from the 8th to 11th July 2019 at Ashburnham Place, Battle, East Sussex. We want to invite anyone with a heart for Europe and the next generation to come and join us. Ashburnham Place, a retreat and conference centre, is set in beautiful grounds with lakes and woodlands. You can come and camp, or stay in the main house.

‘Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in’ (Psalm 24:9). The Uprising is a global gathering of ordinary people daring to believe that prayer changes things, their voices matter, and that ‘God is more than able to change the course of history’. People from every nation will speak the heart of God in prayer, declaration, and worship, expecting to see Him change things in our regions and nations. It is a gathering of people who are willing to fight and make a sacrifice together, seeking the face of God to bring justice and peace among the nations.
